As Web video is starting to turn from grainy You Tube quality to sharp television quality, xTrain is embracing the opportunity to provide our users with the highest quality online video training available on the Internet .
/Multimedia News Articles/ - ADDISON, TX, April 22, 2008 -- xTrain.com, a leader in online video training for photography, media, arts, and design, is pleased to announce that going forward, all new online training programs filmed in its Addison, TX studios will be filmed in television quality widescreen 16:9 video format. The first xTrain courses (20 classes in all) to be available in this format are Aperture Quick and Easy, Special Effects in Photoshop and Basic Modeling in LightWave and 3D Layers. Many more are soon to be released including Professional Photographer Rob Sheppard's Nighttime Photography course.
"As Web video is starting to turn from grainy You Tube quality to sharp television quality, xTrain is embracing the opportunity to provide our users with the highest quality online video training available on the Internet," said Siotha Vest, xTrain's Director of Training. "This new format also allows our users to get more for their money - higher quality video with very fast download times."
By utilizing the 16:9 video format to record all future classes, xTrain now sets the standard for on-demand training and Web streaming video. This high quality format allows users to view xTrain classes in greater detail as they watch and follow along with their instructor and view their computer screens when xTrain cuts to the instructor's screen. So that in turns means the best screen shots (without any distortion) available for xTrain students.
xTrain plans to have over 200 classes available in 16:9 format by the end of 2008. Cost is $199 a year to enroll in unlimited xTrain tracs, courses and classes, or interested participants can subscribe for $19.99 a month for unlimited access and $14.99 per month for students with a valid student ID.
