Virtway Creates a Spectacular 3D Application on iPad to Travel and Learn About Science Without Moving From Your Sofa
This unique free app uses all the power of the iPad device to create an amazing 3D interactive experience through recreating places with extreme realism and high quality content.

OVIEDO, SPAIN, June 29, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The project, developed by Spanish company Virtway is a 3D interactive recreation of the most representative centers of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, such as the National Museum of Science and Technology in A Coruna, that opens its doors later this year.

This application, which is already available on the website of the Ministry http://virtual.micinn.es , may also be downloaded for free on the Apple's AppStore.

The user may, for example, visit the inside of the Gran Telescopio in the Canary Islands and learn about the studies of black holes, stars, the Big Ban or accompany scientists of ALBA Synchrotron for the electron acceleration with experimental purposes.

You can walk freely through different recreated scenarios, consulting information, accessing videos and talking with the avatars specialized in scientific environment. This way you feel you've been visiting places that had never been accessible before, you feel you become a participant of the important research.

Given its innovative nature, the Ministry decided to bet on this interactive 3D technology, providing a user with an extremely avangarde feeling.

Another project created with this technology is Vendome (Lite). It is an amazing recreation of Vendome district in Paris where you can find the best luxury brands in the world and shop online.
